दिगंबर जैन कॉलेज, बड़ौत. सपने देखने और उन्हें पूरा करने के लिए कोई उम्र नहीं होती,और देखे गए सपनों को पूरा करने के लिए पैसों की भी जरूरत नहीं होती। बस जरूरत होती है उस सपने को पूरा करने के लिए आपकी लगन की, आपकी मेहनत की। हर बच्चे का सपना होता है कि वह पढ़-लिख कर बड़ा आदमी बनकर अपने घर-परिवार का नाम रौशन करे। लेकिन कभी-कभी कुछ हालात ऐसे भी बन जाते हैं जो हमारी मंजिल तक पहुँचने के लिए मुसीबत बन जाते हैं। कुछ लोगों के लिए यह परिवार की आर्थिक परेशानियाँ उन्हें कमजोर बना देती हैं। तो कुछ के लिए शारीरिक समस्या। हर किसी की अपनी ही कहानी होती है। पर अगर हम अपने समाज में ऐसी परेशानियों का हल निकालें तो न जाने कितने लोगों के लिए भगवान बन जाते हैं। बागपत जिले के बड़ौत में शिक्षा की माँग बढ़ती जा रही थी। उस समय जिले में कई गाँव थे जहाँ प्रारंभिक शिक्षा पूरी कर चुके छात्र अपनी आगे की पढ़ाई नहीं कर पा रहे थे। क्योंकि उस समय कोई अच्छे कॉलेज नहीं थे। इसी समस्या को हल करने जैन समुदाय आगे आया। साल 1916 में जैन समुदाय द्वारा दिगंबर जैन कॉलेज स्थापित किया गया। इस कॉलेज की शुरूआत श्री गंगाराम किशोरीलाल जैन जी के परिवार द्वारा संचालित किया गया। जिस साल हमारे देश को आजादी मिली उसी साल (1947 में) इस कॉलेज को डिग्री कॉलेज का दर्जा मिला। फिर साल 1960 में यह कॉलेज स्नातकोत्तर पाठ्यक्रमों से अपग्रेड किया गया। अपनी बेहतरीन शिक्षा नीतियों व अनुभवी शिक्षकों द्वारा अपनी शिक्षा ग्रहण करने वाले सभी छात्रों ने अपना सपना पूरा किया। लाल और सफेद पत्थर से बना यह कॉलेज इसी बात का साक्षी है कि कई छात्रों ने इस कॉलेज से अपने ही नहीं अपने परिवार के हर सपने को पूरा किया। कई छात्रों नाम और शोहरत कमाई। There is no age limit for dreaming and fulfilling them. Every child aspires to become a great man by obtaining an education and bringing honour to his family. However, occasionally situations arise that make it difficult to reach our destination. For some, this family's financial difficulties make them weak. For some, this is a physical issue. Everyone has a unique tale. But who knows for how many individuals we become God if we manage to solve these social issues. Education was in high demand in Baghpat district's Baraut village. There were numerous villages in the district at the time when kids who had completed their elementary school were unable to continue their studies. Because there were no decent colleges available at the time. The Jain community stepped up to address this issue. Digambar Jain College was founded in 1916 by the Jain community. This college was founded by the family of Shri Gangaram Kishorilal Jain. In the same year that our country gained independence (in 1947), this college was elevated to the status of degree college. This college was then enhanced with postgraduate programmes in 1960. All of the pupils who received their education from the greatest education policies and competent professors were able to realise their ambitions. This red and white stone college bears evidence to the fact that many students have accomplished not only their own but also their families' dreams by attending this college.
