अहोई अष्टमी और इसका महत्व. अहोई अष्टमी को हिंदुओं के सबसे शुभ त्योहारों में से एक माना जाता है जिसे विवाहित महिलाएं अपने बच्चों की भलाई और दीर्घायु के लिए रखती हैं। शुरुआत में यह व्रत केवल बेटों के लिए रखा जाता था, लेकिन समय के साथ इसमें बेटे और बेटियाँ दोनों शामिल हो गए। यह व्रत अहोई माता को समर्पित है और महिलाएँ अगाध श्रद्धा और विश्वास के साथ उनकी पूजा करके देवी का आशीर्वाद लेती हैं। वे सुबह से शाम तक इस व्रत को रखती हैं और फिर तारों को देखने के बाद इसे तोड़ती हैं। अहोई अष्टमी कार्तिक मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की अष्टमी तिथि यानी इस बार 24 अक्टूबर 2024 को मनाई जाएगी। अहोई अष्टमी: यह व्रत बच्चों की भलाई और लंबी उम्र के लिए रखा जाता है। जिन माताओं को संतान नहीं होती है और वे गर्भधारण करने में असमर्थ हैं या कई बार गर्भपात का सामना कर रही हैं, उन्हें भी यह व्रत रखना चाहिए और देवी का आशीर्वाद लेना चाहिए ताकि माँ उन्हें स्वस्थ संतान का आशीर्वाद दें। इस दिन माता अहोई को प्रसन्न करने के लिए वे कई तरह की पूजा-अर्चना करती हैं और देवी को भोग लगाने के लिए कई तरह के व्यंजन बनाती हैं। माताएं पूजा करते समय चांदी या सोने की माला (हार) पहनती हैं जो स्याऊ माता का प्रतीक है। महिलाएं सूर्योदय से ही अपना व्रत शुरू कर देती हैं और तारों को देखने के बाद इसे समाप्त करती हैं। अहोई माता कोई और नहीं बल्कि देवी लक्ष्मी हैं। AHOI ASHTAMI and it’s Significance . Ahoi Ashtami is considered as pone of the most auspicious festivals of Hindus which is observed by married women for the well being and longevity of their children. Initially, this fast was kept only for sons, but over time, it has evolved to include both sons and daughters. This fast is dedicated to Ahoi Mata and women seek blessings of the Goddess by worshipping her with immense devotion and faith. They observe this fast from dawn to dusk and then break it after sighting the stars. Ahoi Ashtami is observed on Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Kartik i.e., on October 24, 2024. Ahoi Ashtami : This fast is observed for the well being and long life of the children. Mothers, who do not have child and are unable to conceive or facing several miscarriages, should also observe this fast and seek blessings of the Goddess so that Maa Bless them with the healthy child. They perform various puja rituals on this particular day to please Mata Ahoi and prepare various dishes to offer the Goddess. Mothers wear silver or gold garland (haar) which is a symbol of Syau Mata while performing puja. Women start their fast from sunrise and break it once they sight the stars. Ahoi Mata is none other than Goddess Lakshmi.
