Naugaon Fort – The Last Capital of Bhadawar Legacy. Hidden near Agra, Naugaon Fort is a majestic reminder of the once-glorious Bhadawar State. Built by the rulers of the Bhadouria dynasty, this fort served as their power center and final capital. It was Raja Badan Singh who granted a jagir of 12 villages—including Naugaon and Chitra—to his second son Bhagwat Singh, who then built this grand structure known as Naugaon Garhi. With intricately carved jharokhas, imposing bastions, and a massive cannon still standing guard, the fort radiates royal heritage. Statues carved from pure white marble adorn the premises, and even today, traditions like Christmas are celebrated here. The descendants of the Bhadawar rulers, including Sardar Raja Aridaman Singh ji, continue to preserve its legacy.
