Kuchesar House,Meerut,Established in 1933 Today i am pleased to write about the splendid property of The Royal family of kuchesar situated here in meerut .This family have stood the test of times and have fought through highs and lows , right from conferring of tiltle of Rao on Ramdhansingh ji by Mughal emperor Shah Alam 1 (1707-1712)and acknowledging them as rulers of an erstwhile estate of 365 odd villages in the basin of river Ganges to the current successor from eighth generation Kunwar Ajit Singhji of Kuchesar this family has always GOT UP to Fight against rivals, Kunwar sahab is tirelessly engaged along with his wife Mrs Nirlap kaur and two sons Anantjit sing and Anekjit Singh in keeping intact what they inherited from their earlier generation . Shri Ajit singhji is an ardent horticulturist he spent most of his time in planting orchids , maintaining them in there ancestral village of kuchesar popularly know as Kuchesar fort a seventeenth / early eighteenth century citadel .( i shall cover that in near future ) Kuchesar house , A pit stop for the erstwhile ruler of kuchesar ,was built by Rao Bahadur Giriraj Singh ji of kuchesar in1933. Commissioned by Sir Sobha singh the famous contractors of Delhi who built the Rashtrapati Bhawan ,Delhi . Tastefully decorated in Art Deco style this has astonishing furniture,beautiful high ceilings adore the house which keep the house cool during summer months .Kuchesar house still stands in the bustling nabourgh of begam bagh Meerut ,area around the house has changed drastically but Kuchesar house is still standing ,looks magnificent ,well maintained elaborating every detail about the era when it was built. During the 70s Kuchesar house also housed a primary school by the name of mini land run by The owner Mrs Narlep kaur ji . Today the Owners and there two sons have maintained the house to it former glory ,well manicured gardens beautifully decorated rooms with the old furniture restored to the minutest of details . Kuchesar house is a fine example of classic design n architecture . Kunwar Ajit Singh ji and MRs Narlep kaur with there two Sons Anant Jit Singh n Anek Jit Singh who both have a keen eye and taste for old world charm have kept the house maintained as it used to be through the generations , till date they all make sure that regular upkeep is the utmost important aspect of the property.They are true saviour’s of family heritage .
