The Archaeological Department has locked it to preserve it, but there is no one to take care of it. There is no special mention of the history of this mosque in any book. The silence of this place hides the melody of a time, which will probably resonate again someday. छोटी मस्जिद ,आगरा. एक समय की बात है, जब भारत में मुग़ल साम्राज्य का शासन था। इस दौरान मोहम्मद शाह के राज में एक छोटी सी मस्जिद का निर्माण हुआ, जिसे आज भी लोग भूरे मस्जिद के नाम से जानते हैं। यह मस्जिद 17वीं शताब्दी की धरोहर है, लेकिन आज यह वीरान पड़ी है। मस्जिद की भव्यता आज भी उसकी संरचना में नजर आती है। इसमें एक बड़ा गुम्बद और दो छोटे गुम्बद हैं, जो इसकी खूबसूरती को और बढ़ाते हैं। लेकिन अफसोस की बात है कि अब यह जगह सुनसान है। पुरातत्व विभाग ने इसे संरक्षित करने के लिए ताला लगा रखा है, लेकिन इसकी देखभाल करने वाला कोई नहीं है। इस मस्जिद के इतिहास का कोई खास उल्लेख किसी भी किताब में नहीं मिलता। यह एक ऐसा स्थल है जो समय के साथ खो गया है, लेकिन इसकी दीवारों में आज भी अतीत की गूंज सुनाई देती है। इस वीरान मस्जिद की कहानी एक याद दिलाती है, एक इतिहास की, जो हमें अपने अतीत से जोड़ती है। इस जगह की खामोशी में छुपा है एक समय का राग, जो शायद कभी फिर से गूंजेगा।
