Once a proud emblem of the city’s heritage, this beautiful structure is now battling neglect and rampant encroachment. Once boasting heavy wooden gates and strategic rooms for guards, this Afghan-style fort entrance could become a major attraction again — but only if the administration steps in urgently to protect and beautify it. Today, sadly, this gate is the only surviving remnant of the once-mighty fort. अतिक्रमण और उपेक्षा के बीच बाड़ी का ऐतिहासिक किला गेट धौलपुर के बाड़ी शहर के बीचों-बीच स्थित ऐतिहासिक किला गेट, जो 13वीं से 14वीं शताब्दी के बीच सल्तनत काल में अफगानी शैली में बना था, आज उपेक्षा और अतिक्रमण का शिकार हो रहा है। भारी लकड़ी का बना इसका मुख्य दरवाजा और सैनिकों के लिए बनाए गए कमरे आज भी इसकी भव्यता की गवाही देते हैं। प्रशासन यदि ठेले-ढकेल हटाकर इसकी सुंदरता बढ़ाने के लिए कदम उठाए, तो बाड़ी का यह किला गेट फिर से अपनी खोई हुई गरिमा पा सकता है। आज दुख की बात यह है कि पूरे किले का अब सिर्फ यही एक मुख्य गेट ही बचा है।
