MUKANDI DEVI DHARAMSHALA,Meerut. One of the oldest Dharamshala” MUKANDI DEVI DHARAMSHALA” built in the year 1915 at the heart of the city at ghantaghar just opposite Town Hall it was built by the Lala chunni lal Ji rais Meerut in honour of his parents Mrs Mukandi Devi JI wife of Lala Kalyan Singh Ji later a huge gate was built by the name of “Kalyan-dwar” in the year 1938. This Dharamshala has a unique architecture of its own. Presently head office of the “Bhartiya Janta Party”Meerut is also situated in Mukandi Devi Dharamshala only.
