Finally confusion over Kamboh gate got over the Ghantaghar of today was earlier known as the Kamboh Gate it was in the year 1913 that the present Ghantaghar was constructed and the Kamboh Gate was demolished and the present Ghantaghar came up to felicitate the welcome of the British officer James Rae Pearson Esquire I.C.S Collector & Magistrate of Meerut.
